When to Go to Mauritius
Good news: there's no bad time to go to Mauritius. The island can be visited all year round, with temperatures that rarely drop below 20 degrees. Still, there are meaningful differences from month to month — in terms of price, crowds, wind and cyclone risk.
If you can choose your dates, May, September, October and November offer the best compromise: pleasant weather, low prices and quiet beaches. July-August and December-January are the most expensive and busiest periods. And the rainy season (January-March) isn't necessarily one to avoid if you're willing to trade a few tropical showers for prices cut in half.
